|
|
The student finds himself an interesting and challeging traineeship with the coordinator's help.
He does a four-month intensive traineeship at an internationally oriented organisation. The language of communication is not his mother tongue. He will be confronted with problems that are intrinsic to the world of communication. At the same time he will be able to upgrade his language skills.
The challenging job responsibilities and a foreign working environment will turn the traineeship into an unforgettable intercultural once-in-a-lifetime-experience.

Traineeship:
- The idea of doing a traineeship starts from a win-win operation which is an asset for both the company and the student.
- The student and the corporate supervisor will draw a traineeship programme before the start of the traineeship, after which they both sign the contract.
- In the progamme you can find the specific objectives and assignments of the traineeship.
- The student is able to evaluate himself and how he has fulfilled his tasks critically.
- He can report on his tasks coherently and clearly.
- The corporate supervisor and the supervisor from the university college evaluate the traineeship and they decide if the specific objectives have been achieved.
Traineeship report:
- The student proves in the traineeship report that he has achieved all the specific objectives of the traineeship.
- He is able to evaluate himself and how he has fulfilled his tasks critically.
- He is able to coherently and clearly report on his tasks and on the company he worked for.
- He can also deal with intercultural differences professionally and maturely.

The minimum prerequisite to this programme is a degree comparable to a European Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Business Studies and Languages and applied economics and commercial science (specialism marketing)

Verdere toelichting:
During the traineeship the corporate supervisor will support the trainee and give him feedback, starting from the criteria mentioned in the evaluation form. After approximately eight weeks and at the end of the traineeship, the corporate supervisor assesses the trainee by filling in the evaluation form which is further clarified in an evaluative talk with the trainee.
The university college supervisor keeps in contact with the trainee on a regular basis, and supports the trainee with regular feedback on his traineeship.
